Where are the main natural gas reserves around the world?

Natural gas is sourced from underground deposits. Some countries do not have these, while others have them in abundance. So, in 2022, the United States, Russia, Iran, China and Canada were the 5 biggest producers of natural gas in the world. They alone account for more than half of the world’s natural gas reserves. In Europe, it is Norway that has the largest deposits.
