What is involved in connection to the grid?

For a consumer customer, distribution grid manager (GRD) or NGV station, it includes:

• a branch line (the pipe situated between the Teréga gas transport grid and the delivery point);

• one or more delivery stations, located at the consumer site or near to the supplied grid, whose purpose is to meter the gas and deliver it at the requested pressure.

Where a customer wants to inject, as in the case of a gas production site (biomethane or hydrogen in particular), one or more injection stations will be located close to the production site. Their purpose is to meter and check the quality of the gas, and to inject it at grid pressure.
