What is the “France Relance” plan?
The France Relance plan is a national strategy set up by the French Government in 2020 to support the economy following the Covid-19 health crisis.
With 100 billion euros of funding (⅓ of the annual State budget), this plan focuses on three main areas:
Ecology (€30bn),
Competitiveness (€35bn),
Social and territorial cohesion (€35bn).
Sector-based plans have been introduced in a targeted way, to encourage culture, tourism, the car industry, cottage industries, “tech”, and local shops. The challenge is to safeguard employment, skills and the French industrial fabric, by limiting the economic impact of the crisis.
From the ecological angle, France Relance has enabled massive support for the development of the decarbonised hydrogen industry (accelerating the development of production, enhancing dedicated infrastructure, helping with innovation and competitiveness in the sector).
Teréga’s activities fit perfectly into that plan, with its innovative HySoW project.
