Teréga partners with Lons Section Paloise Women’s Rugby for the 2025–2026 season

Teréga, the historic operator of gas transport and storage infrastructure in South-West France, announces its partnership with Lons Section Paloise Rugby Féminin (LSPRF) for the women’s rugby 2025/2026 season. Through this sponsorship, Teréga reinforces its commitment to promoting women’s sport and reaffirms its strong ties to the Béarn region.

Firmly rooted in Béarn’s sporting culture, Lons Section Paloise Rugby Féminin (LSPRF) has been a driving force in the development and promotion of women’s rugby — from grassroots to senior level. Born of passion, commitment and a spirit of transmission, LSPRF has embodied the
excellence of Béarn’s women’s rugby for nearly thirty years. The journey began in 1996 with the
“Filles d’Arudy”, whose integration into RC Lons marked the club’s lasting presence on the national rugby scene. From the creation of youth teams to becoming a club fully dedicated to women’s rugby in 2015, and its integration into Section Paloise in 2021, LSPRF has grown into a recognised hub of talent and a model of sporting commitment. With five national championship titles, the Lons players have competed at the highest level — including the Top 10 and Seven Élite — helping to elevate the visibility of women’s rugby far beyond the borders of Béarn.

Today, LSPRF continues to inspire young girls seeking to thrive in a team sport that fosters empowerment, solidarity and self-confidence.

This partnership strengthens Teréga’s long-standing tradition of backing sport, already demonstrated by its support of Section Paloise Béarn Pyrénées (Top 14 rugby), the Teréga Open Pau–Pyrénées (tennis), the Tour Féminin International des Pyrénées (cycling), Basket Landes (women’s basketball), and major events such as the Vendée Globe.

Through these initiatives, Teréga reaffirms its support for sport as a driver of unity and shared values — and for women’s sport as a powerful force for equality and inspiration.
