What is drawing-off?
During periods of high consumption such as the winter, the gas stored in the summer in our underground storage facilities is drawn off, then reinjected into the transport grid to deal with growing demand.
The gas, which had accumulated in the porous rock, is replaced by water returning to its initial position in the pores in the so-called “reservoir” rock.
