What is the French Energy-Climate Strategy (SFEC)?
TheFrench Energy-Climate Strategy (SFEC) will be the new roadmap to ensure France is carbon neutral by 2050 and will ensure that our company adapts to the impacts of climate change.
It is currently being drawn up by the government. It will encompass the first five-year Energy and Climate Action Plan (NECP), which must be adopted before mid 2023 and set out in the National Low-Carbon Strategy (SNBC issue 3), the National Climate Change and Adaptation Plan (PNACC issue 3) and the Long Term Energy Schedule (PPE 2024-2033), which must be adopted in the first half of 2024.
