Sobriety: eco-friendly gestures accessible to all to reduce their consumption and their gas bill

To continue the efforts undertaken by the French in terms of energy sobriety, ADEME, GRTgaz, Teréga, GRDF and IGNES offer fact sheets listing eco-friendly actions as well as management solutions allowing save energy on a daily basis. The complementary expertise of each partner made it possible to propose an action plan to facilitate the reduction of energy consumption in housing and the construction sector small tertiary. In France, 12.8 million homes and 200,000 business premises use gas, mainly for heating. Everyone can become an actor in sobriety by applying the advice in the 4 sheets available on the ecogaz website via the following link: ecogaz

Écogaz, an innovative system launched last winter in response to tensions over gas supplies in France, aims to inform citizens in real time about their gas consumption and the network situation. Thanks to smart meters, consumers can access their consumption data on a daily basis, thus making it easier to take immediate measures to reduce their consumption. The partners involved, notably ADEME, GRTgaz, Teréga, GRDF and IGNES, collaborated to develop educational sheets adapted to different building typologies, such as individual houses, private collective housing, social housing and small tertiary sectors. These sheets offer additional advice, encouraging the adoption of eco-friendly actions adapted to specific equipment and usage habits, while promoting connected or non-connected management solutions.
