Teréga, will be present at 2019's G7 summit thanks to the Nouvelle Aquitaine Region

A major player in the energy sector, Teréga – France’s second-largest gas transportation and storage company – will participate in events organised at the G7 summit to be held in Biarritz on 24-26 August.

Dominique Mockly, Chairman and Managing Director of Teréga, will share his vision of some key energy issues at the pitch session organised by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region and which will take place on Sunday 25 August from 2pm to 5pm at the G7 summit in Biarritz. 

By hosting the summit, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region aims at promoting the area and the initiatives undertaken to seek solutions to fight inequalities – the key theme of the G7 summit. In a dedicated space, the Region will showcase its local expertise, cuisine and wealth of tourist attractions, but will also share its thoughts on the fight against inequality generated by global warming. This space will host various meetings and pitches.

The event will bring together around 25 foreign delegations comprising nearly 3,000 people, who will discuss some of the major international issues and the priorities set by the President of the French Republic:

Fighting inequality of opportunity to give everyone a chance, regardless of their gender and origin;Fighting inequality linked to environmental degradation;Security and counter-terrorism; Fighting inequality through digital development and artificial intelligence; Combating inequality through a renewed partnership with Africa.
