The New World is an event for citizens, local authorities and businesses to seize the moment to support positive change and promote an inclusive ecological and societal transition. The focus of this year's event is on the world of tomorrow, and this theme will be explored through a range of conferences, round tables and practical workshops.
The New World aims to be a veritable laboratory of ideas and action for all those who wish to become actively involved in the ecological and societal transition.
Friday 4 October, 3.30pm, round-table discussion ‘Energy transition: where do we stand?’
We've been talking about the ‘energy transition’ for years now, but what's actually happening? Are the objectives and resources put in place ambitious enough? Does the very term ‘transition’ really mean the same thing to everyone who uses it?
Patrick Mathieu, Terega's Delegate for Regional Institutional Relations, will be speaking alongside Jean Ballandras, Akuo's Director of Public Affairs for France, to take stock of the current regional and French energy situation.
